| The higher the ratio
of high cards, when you play blackjack games, the better the likelihood that the dealer will bust. When the odds
are stacked against the dealer you up your bet. When the odds are stacked
against you, you lower your bet or not play the next couple of hands.
The simple part has been discussed. The rest is a fair dinkum memory test. I was
educated to tally up cards with a face value of 2 to 6 as one point for each card
and tens (which covers the jack, queen and king) and aces as minus 1 and the
left over cards sevens to nines were ignored. Zero is your opening point for a
new shoe. Like everything else, you will be measured when you first embark on
counting those blackjack cards. You will surprise yourself as how quickly you will
ramp up to speed. |
